If you've never been to Sunnyside Cafe in Alliance, I highly recommend it. My first visit found exceptional service, homey ambiance, and a creative menu. Warning: if you order their baked oatmeal, you won't need anything else! A new breakfast bicycling destination for me.
Everything was great. They were all pretty sure was my two year olds. She did amazing. They brought her coloring books to occupy her time. I waitress was amazing. She was on point with everything. The food was great and the owner came out and spoke with everybody and checked on everybody that that was served.
First time here, but it was incredible! Cozy restaurant setting with booth, table, and bar seating options. It has a clean environment and friendly staff. We ordered hot coffee, salted caramel iced coffee, a breakfast sandwich, and hashbrowns- everything was delicious! What really stood out were the yummy HOMEMADE biscuits & gravy! We would absolutely recommend this spot.
This place is really cool! It has a very old school vibe. The staff is friendly and talk to you like they have known you for years. Fairly priced and very good food. I believe it was the owner that came out and checked in with everyone to make sure everything was alright and talk with people. I would highly recommend trying Sunny Side!
Everything was stupendous from top to bottom and all around. Service was impeccable, food was phenomenal, and a charming ascetic atmosphere. Twas an authentic place to eat with my daughter. Will definitely return with family and friends. A must see and share with loved ones.
Lovely little breakfast & lunch diner/cafe. Our waitress was so sweet, the kitchen even said bye to us & thank you for coming as we left. Well definitely be back! The food was great, eggs cooked perfectly as ordered, crispy bacon, home fries were so good too.
I wish I could give this place more stars. The cook deserves an award. I’m not the kind to compliment with such fervor. This is your grandmas breakfast in all the best ways. Everything tastes and seems to be handmade and simple but in the best version of simplicity. Large fist size biscuits that fall apart, grits that are perfection. Hasbrowns look hand shredded and cooked with care and consideration. The food is, what you expect and want every time you’ve ever ordered breakfast and have been disappointed. This food has love in it and coupled with the atmosphere by the servers I simply can’t say enough good things. The wait is not too long, it’s what you would expect and with the resulted food I couldn’t complain if it was long. The staff are so sweet and nice and this place has the feel of a sunny Sunday mid morning with railroad tracks out the front window and light music playing country radio, while the sweetest smiles just walk around taking care of their patrons. Great hidden gem will eat here again. My only complaint is the bathroom for women’s being directly at the front door which makes a traffic jam and what feels like an audience outside the door. Otherwise they have grits and sausage gravy, country fried steak. And I truly can’t compliment the cook(s) enough. We ordered eggs, his over-easy and mine over-medium and I love doing this just to see how good the cook is, we would both be fine with either outcome but the eggs came out as ordered which rarely happens. Ok enough, get over there and find your new favorite breakfast joint!
What a fun experience my friend and I had at SunnySide Cafe in Alliance recently! Our server, Kiki, did a great job and was very bubbly, which is a nice plus in a server. Our breakfasts were delicious and we got plenty of food for the money. The only con at all was the fact that the kitchen door where the woman was washing dishes was wide open, and you could see in and hear the clinging and clanging of the dishes and utensils. If the door would have been shut, that would’ve been perfect! All-in-all, we had a great time and will be back!
